How Internet Counselling Works

Counselling involves a deliberatly undertaken agreement with clearly agreed boundries and a commitment to privacy and confidentiality. The overall aim is to provide the opportunity for the client to work towards living in a way he or she experences as more satisfying and resoursfull by working towards mutual goals.
Whilst we endeavor to help the client in anyway possible we are not an advisory service. We are here to help you explore and understand your concerns, issues, problems and fears. especially in the areas of gender idenity and sexuality.
The process is basicly thru email the client will submit their issues in an email and we will reply in basic language
This process has benifit over face to face counselling because you need never be seen by the counsellor thus your privacy remains upmost. It also has the advantage that you can send emails 24 hours a day seven days a week from anywhere. You will also have a cost saving in travelling expences. Whilst face to face counselling is the best form of counselling Internet counselling is suitable if you
* Wish to keep your concerns from others
* You feel that you have a feeling of guilt and shame of your thoughts and feelings and wish to keep them from family and friends.
* You live in an isolated area
If phone counselling is required you will be charged at the equal cost of an email responce per call.(phone calls may be recorded)

You may use an alias name in your emails but it is a requirement that you disclose your true name, address and phone number in the contract. WE will NOT contact you by surface mail unless requested by you.
