I am trying to prove or disprove that he is the father of my gg-grandfather, William W. Wilkins, who was born 1815 in Ga. and Married Elizabeth Carpenter(of Warren Co.,Ga.)in Henry Co.,Ga.1838. They had three children: Sanford R.,Eliza,and George. Elizabeth died 1840-1845 and William and his children by Elizabeth are found abt.1845 in Talladega/Clay Co.,Al.If you have any information on John R. Wilkins William W. Wilkins, or related families,please respond. I am hoping to find names of wife and children of John R. Wilkins.
