The Party's Over

ER's Laura Innes, who has played Dr. Kerry Weaver since 1995, admits that vitality signs on the set aren't as strong since the Februaury departure of what she calls "the human party." That, of course, would be George Clooney. "It definitely has changed the dynamic," says Innes, 41, who makes her directorial debut with the May 6 episode of the NBC hit. "We still laugh and joke and have a good time, but with George there was this sense that, no matter what, there was a party going on. We definitely miss that. luckily we do see him around because his office is right near [the set]. But he can't be replaced."
