The internet is a lovely thing and because it is so versatile it make editing and changing whatever your heart desires easy at a click of the button. What this means for this particular site is that it will always and forever be under construction. I have had this websire since I my freshman year of college (September 1997). Please take a momant and look at the other links I have listed below such as my Art Gallery and my Seamstress page. All artwork shown on my "Art Gallery" site is by me. It does take some time for the "Art Gallery" pages to load! Come and visit all my sites as many times as your heart so desires...
I have recently made another big move in my life. Branden and I moved from the Washington, DC area (where we had been living for the past 4 years) to Chattanooga, TN.
Here is a little bit of information about me. I am a Native of Marlyand. My maiden name is Nicole Knauss, which may never change since I have established myself profesionally. I met my husband my freshman year at college and we were married the winter of my senior year. My husband and I moved from Iowa to Maryland because of a job opening in a lovely theatre several years ago. We made our recent big move south for career reasons and to start a family. Chattanooga has been a place dear to our hearts for many different reasons & years and so was the natural choice once we decided we needed "out" of the DC area.
My Basic Artistic Profile is as follows:
Nicole Knauss, a Maryland native with family ties to Chattanooga, has had the great pleasure of being immersed in the Arts since an early age. She is a BSS degree recipient from Cornell College with a major in Art and concentrations in Art History and Business. Nicole has almost completed an Arts Management Certification through University of Massachusetts (on-line) and is looking forward to adding a Masters Degree in Arts Management as time allows. In recent years she has worked in the theatrical community with her most recent endeavor as a Producer for a children’s theatre in Arlington, VA. Among her many hobbies and career choices Nicole is a free-lance artist and seamstress. Her new position as the Executive Director for the Chattanooga Girls Choir is one in which she is taking great pride and looks forward to a long relationship with the choir.
A motto that I try to hold myself up against is:
"to thy own self be true......."
