These are some pictures of my Märklin layout. It is a small (5' X 10') layout in a spare bedroom. It is digital and computer controlled by my Mac SE using a program I wrote in Hypercard. An infrared remote control acts as throttle and switch box.
The Märklin Controller program
Switches can be thrown by simply clicking on the schematic or by hitting the appropriate key on the keyboard or remote control. Entire preprogrammed routes can be set by one menu selection. The speed characteristics of each locomotive can be configured.
