About the Character-
The Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat! He never takes what he’s offered and always wants the best. There’s only one way to describe him: girl-magnet! All of the female kittens are crazy over him, and Etcetera literally faints when he’s within 5 yards of her! At first, it seems that Tugger is ignorant to the rules of the Tribe, but when Old Deuteronomy arrives and Tugger bows to him, you realize that Tugger’s not a disobediant Cat at all. Tugger has no relationship to any of the Cats in the tribe, other than Bombalurina. She is his “kind of” girlfriend-mostly, they just tease each other! The Rum Tum Tugger is colored brown, with leopard spots in some places. He is tall, with a medium build. He is an adult Cat, but obviously likes to relive his teenage days! He is probably the equivalent if 28-30 human years.

About the Actor-
The actor who plays the Rum Tum Tugger CAN’T be shy! He dances with audience members and must maintain a comic sexuality throughout his number and the dance sequences. The actor should be a high baritone.
