About the Character-
Jellylorum is a mother to all of the kittens in the Jellicle tribe. She is weary of Grizabella and stops the Jellicles from touching her. Not much else is known about Jellylorum. She takes care of Gus and tells the others stories of his days as a theater cat. She and Skimbleshanks may be married. If they are, then Victoria and Jemima could be their kittens. Some of Jellylorum’s friends are Jennyanydots and Bombalurina. Old Deuteronomy greatly respects her because she is probably the oldest of the female Jellicles. She plays the part of Griddlebone in “Growltiger’s Last Stand.” Jellylorum’s coat is yellow and brown. She is of medium height and has a slight build. Her age is the cat equivalent of about 45 years.

About the Actor-
The actress who plays Jellylorum is usually an middle-aged woman. Although the part requires dancing ability, it is not strenuous. The most important thing is that the actress has a strong, operatic, soprano voice.
