Mishey's Home Page

This is Michelle L. Williams's home page. It is about who I am and what I love.

About Me........

I was born in Marlton, New Jersey on November 23, 1975. I am currently still residing in New Jersey. I am 5'7" with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, now with contacts. *S*. I try my best to be a honest, sincere, and a geniune person. I believe that someone should always be true to theirself. I really don't see the point in trying to be something you are not, it just doesn't make any sense to me.

I attended Camden County College in Blackwood, NJ for a year and than moved onto Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va for a year. I had to leave MBC for many reasons, but I don't regret attending. I made many long lasting friendships while attending the college. I received my assosicates degree, May 2002. I'm heading off to Temple University to get my Bachelor's degree.

I am a Communications major with an emphasis on media writing and broadcasting. I hope to get involved in radio broadcasting. I have about two more years before I get my degree if all goes right but I really don't care how long it takes to get it, I will. I wouldn't ever give up on my dream.

The closest thing I had to my major is that I worked at a movie theater. I worked for Regal Cinemas for a little over three years. I love the movies and while attending MBC I was the Arts and Entertainment Editor of our newspaper, I did some movie reviews. I think that was interesting and wouldn't mind doing that for a career.

Then I moved onto Wawa, a local convience store. I like it, I needed a change. I was at the theater too long and was getting no where. So I decided it was time to move on. A good decision that was because I am became a Customer Service Manager.

Now I work at Columbia Bank, a NJ based bank. I am a part-time teller at night. It worked out a lot better with my school schedule than Wawa.

This past year I was a disc jockey at Camden County College's radio station. I worked at WDBK 91.5 on Sunday mornings. It was a great experience.

About My Family........

I have 3 siblings and my parents. My mom is Sharon M. Williams and my best friend in the whole world. She is a secretary for Garden State Abstract. My dad is Dennis E. Williams, Sr. He is disabled and hasn't worked since I was a junior or senior in high school. They are divorced. I live about 5 minutes from home. *S* I am the oldest of all four of us. Then there is my brother, Dennis E. Williams, Jr. who was born on November 3, 1977. He currently works at a local grocery store. Next, is my sister Heather R. Williams who was born on April 3, 1979. She is a secretary for an eye doctor's office in the mall. Last but not least, is the baby of the family, Kimberly M. Williams who was born on June 6, 1980. She is a proud new mommy of a little baby boy, Dylan Patrick. Kim also works part-time at Wawa and is a full-time student to become a teacher.

About My Friends........

I would have to say that most of my closest friends are from Mary Baldwin College.

Starting with my best friend, Aisha L. Johnson. I know when we first met she thought I was a little weird. We met through the newspaper staff at Mary Baldwin. I really don't know how it happened but we became very good friends. It all started when she asked me to go home with her for the weekend. Then we would go back and forth from Virginia to Maryland at least once a month. If we weren't going to Maryland we would just be chillin' on campus or going to JMU or VMI. We spent many of nights up talking about Don and Danny, our guy interests at the time.

Then, she came back to New Jersey with me during our spring break and met some of my friends. We had a lot of fun that week.It was her first time in New Jersey, not that there is much excitement here or anything. We went to Philadelphia and visited South Street and the Gallery Mall. God we had some crazy adventures together, I guess that is what you get when you put two crazy people together. *L*

One of the craziest things we did together would have to be at a Backstreet Boys concert. We been to 8 of them, 9 including a Johnny No-Name concert.. For her birthday, I bought her tickets to a Backstreet Boys concert for July,98 in Philly. Then she found out they were going to be in Maryland, so we went again in September,98. Well at that concert, we took her sister. After the concert, we spotted their tour bus and shall we say went on a chase. We chased the bus all the way down I-95. At least we got Kevin and Howie to wave to us. Can I say crazy?? Yes, I know we are a little crazy when it comes to the Backstreet Boys.

You can say that again, since then we have went to 2 concerts of the Millennium tour and 4 of the Black and Blue tour. The second Millennium concert we were right across the street from the Boys' hotel. We saw Brian go to Arby's. We danced at the same nightclub as Howie. Yes we are still trying to meet them *S*

I would have to say I met a lot of friends through her down in Maryland. I also felt as if I was a part of another family because her family made me feel very welcome. Thank You, Mr and Mrs. Johnson for letting me come and stay with you for the weekends Aisha and I would come down. I really appreciated it and I love you as if you were a second set of parents to me. As you can see, we can talk about everything and anything with each other. I don't know what I would do without her to support me and be on my side with everything I do and decide to do in the future. I love you, Aisha.

Then there is the crew that I hung out with while attending MBC. In order of pic: Liz McGeehan, Dana Brown, Tiffany Parker, and Brandi Wright(not pictured here), along with Aisha. They are my closest friends from Baldwin. We had a blast together. Whether it be at mixers or in my car driving around Staunton doing nothing. Staunton is such a small town in Virginia. We would go to the mall, Wal-Mart, or the local gocery store. Sometimes on weekends we would get off of campus and drive around JMU looking for a party, not that we ever found one. *L* Or that time that we went to the bar/dance club on JMU's campus. I guess you could say we just would have to make things fun. Even hanging out in the libary where we all worked with the exception of Brandi. I love you guys and miss you guys sooo much.

Although, I did have other friends on campus such as Bridgett, Colleen, Gina, Kayan, Liz D., Lorri, Steph, Tabatha, and Valencia. I couldn't forget you guys. Some of the conversations that went on at the table during lunch and dinner, boy they could be interesting. Then there was the classes, like Reich's classes. *L* And just hangin' out in the dorms, we could have a blast. Like the time the fire alarm went off in Spencer or should I say the many times it would go off. *G*

I did have a few friends off-campus. I met Gary at the movie theater I worked at while attending school down there. He happened to know some of my friends on campus. I would have to say that Gary is a good friend.

Then there is Danny whom I met through Aisha. He is also a good friend that lives in Virginia although not so close to campus. We would stop and visit him on the way back to Maryland every once in a while. I could talk to him about anything which was and still is weird. I would talk to even him about Don.

Angie was a pretty good friend, also met through the movie theather. I met and made a lot of friendships going down to Mary Baldwin College, now who could regret that?? They would have to be crazy.

Then there are my friends from home.First there is Jenn who I met in 7th grade. We are very close friends. Even though our friendship has been through it's ups and downs.

Then there is Michelle whom I have known since I was in 5th grade. We met through Girl Scouts. Michelle and I have been through a lot together. Our friendship also had it's ups and downs. I met Janelle and Mike both through Michelle.

Randy who is a stranger to almost everyone, so I hear. I met through my brother. He is friends with my brother and now is also friends with me.

Don is a friend I met through high school. We met because of the attraction we had for each other. We never officially dated but we kept in touch. I still see him every once in a while. I could never forget him or how much I care about him as a friend.

Robert is someone I have known since I was 10 or 11 yrs old.We meant through church. He is a friend of the family.

Last but not least, is my friends I met through the movie theather here in New Jersey. They are Toni and Yessenia(Sen, is what everyone calls her). They would be my closest friends from the job. I do have other acquitances I have worked with while working for the theather.

I couldn't forget Erica, my adopted little sister. I met Erica through my youngest sister, Kim. She became friends with my sister when they were in junior high. Then for some strange reason they stopped talking but obviously they are talking again. I told you Kimmy that Erica and you would be good friends even when you didn't want anything to do with her. Recently, she moved to New Mexico but we still talk on-line. She is a very good friend and lil' sis. I love you, Erie.

My Interests........

I am very interested in anything doing with Arts and Entertainment such as acting, movies, music, and writing. When it comes to acting, yes I can act. I would love to act. I did three musicals in high school. The Pajama Game, The Music Man, and South Pacfic. I was a dancer and singer in all of them. I could have acted if I accepted the like 2 lines but back then I was shy.

I love movies and try to see as many as possible. It is hard to say which ones would be my favorites b/c I like so many different ones. I am a fan of Drew Barrymore, Leonardo DiCaprio, Adam Sandler, and Alicia Silverstone. I have seen most of their movies. I like Kevin Smith's Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy. Clerks I would have to say was the best by far. Drew Barrymore and Alicia Silverstone inspire me. Drew overcame a lot to get where she is today. Alicia may not have been a child star but she is a great actress and has gotten far in the business. Adam Sandler is not only cute but very funny and talented. Leonardo DiCaprio may be very good looking but that is not all he has to offer to Hollywood because he is a great actor to top it off.

When it comes to music, I just love listening to it. I am a huge Backstreet Boys fan. Actually, Aisha is the one that got me hooked on the Backstreet Boys. Every time we would go back to Maryland we would have to listen to the whole tape of the Backstreet Boys. That would be the main reason, I went out and bought their album because I didn't have it in New Jersey. Now I have imports and all the US albums.. It is kinda weird liking that kinda group at my age but I enjoy the music. Although the guys have more talent than just their looks they are gorgeous each and every one of them. Although my favorite is Nick Carter. It didn't start that way..he was too young..my first was Kevin, then AJ, now Nick. No doubt, by knowing that tid bit of info you would know that I was a huge New Kids on The Block fan.

I listen to all kinds of music. I like anyone from Journey to LL Cool J. I have a very open mind about this sort of thing. I don't just like one type of music and exclude all the rest that are out there.

When it comes to writing. I love to write poems. I write them to express my feelings. It is kinda like a therapy for me. If I am happy or sad, I just sit down and write a poem. Although, I do think I write poems more often if I am sad or there is something in my life going on that is bothering me. So be sure to check out my poetry page.
