This is a mint pair of Nipper & Chipper the advertising dogs for RCA. Nipper was Thomas Edison's dog and the original picture shows him sitting on his master's coffin listening to a victrola playing "His Master's Voice." Lately we don't like death that much so the coffin has been phased out, but everybody always loved Nipper, so they gave him a little brother and gave the pair away in the early 90's. These little guys sometimes came with a cardboard doghouse. They were made by Dakin, both have their tags dated 1992. Nipper is about 11" tall and Chipper is about 6". They have their names on their collars too! You can have this pair for $25.00.
