Journey to Canterbury

On my trip to Canterbury I shall bring a friend as well.
And like the sounds of joy in life, her name just happens to be Bell.
She's no ordinary girl from the mall,
She's one in a million, but we're friends that's all.
I adore her so much but even I see,
She wants to fall in love with someone much less like me.
She is to me what day is to night.
Without her life just wouldn't seem right.
She has the face of an angel,
Her beauty unmatched.
For I have heard others say that "she is all that. . . .".
When I look in her eyes my heart seems to cease.
I get all flushed out to say the least.
Her eyes are like diamonds that sparkle and shine.
I look in her eyes and wish she were mine.
I sit back now and take in sweet air.
I want to run my fingers through her hair.
Her form is so perfect, her style has much grace,
Much like the softness of her face.
When we're apart she's all I think about.
I'd confess my feelings, but I have so much doubt.
My sight starts to haze, like the great sun sets.
These must be feelings of pain and regret.
So with these words, I say with great pride,
I'll confess my feelings before I die.
With nerves of steel and pure iron will,
I shall keep these feelings inside until.
So on this trip far over the sea,
To a place called Canterbury,
I'll confess my love, and if it's meant to be,
I'll be hers forever, for "she completes me".
