This site is loosely cobbled together around my burgeoning collection of VWs both aircooled and watercooled. As it shapes up, there'll be restoration photos, a tech section and other random stuff.
So what's new? Well, after being in VW limbo for the past 8 months or so, I've finally got my own space. I'm still moving in so mind the boxes on the loor and make yourself comfy. The toaster's over there if you want to make yourself useful...
Undergoing the "treatment" here is my 1965 VW Splitscreen Standard Microbus.
I've owned this van since Jan 1998 - and have been waiting 6 long years for the opportunity of undertaking a full teardown and ground up restoration.
