You call yourselves christians
You follow Jesus' rule
Then you better read the teacher
Return to his school.
I've seen your churches
Each with another disagree
Yet all claim my Lord Jesus
The Bible's truth has set me free!
I prayed to God to teach me
Open me and show me his way
He is more then I ever dreamed about
In his path I wish to stay.
Do not argue or talk against another
Whether in the body or in the world
How can you bring the world to Jesus
If you slander man,woman,boy or girl?
Never get angry pray it out
Do not let murder inside you
Keep your mouth quiet can you?
Only with God can this you do.
I have seen your chasing money
Tithing those that Christ has freed
The tithes were for the Levites only
No longer under jewish law. This is greed.
Some speak in tongues and look down
On other believers who do not
You believe in your heart nothing else matters
It seems Acts you remembered. Corinthians you forgot.
I can cut my hair and wear slacks
I am not under jewish law
Jesus death released me
Heed the father's call.
My law is my God
And the sacrifice of my Lord Jesus Christ
Read the word with spiritual eyes
Seek him. He'll show you his light.
I will not pray for things
the Bible doesn't ask me to
I will not enter your empty buildings
God lives inside of you.
