It has been said 'A Journey of Faith begins with one step.' In 1922 the "Journey of Faith" that resulted in a Baptist witness in Kensington, began in the hearts and lives of a few committed believers. Since then many changes have transpired and countless numbers of people have been touched by the ministries of Kensington Baptist Church. The inspiration of past accomplishments and a vision of future opportunities for ministry compel us to continue our faith journey into the new millenium. As Mrs. Ida Simms took the first steps of faith on this journey, so may we step forward through the challenging door into the future where God is calling us. |
