NJTU Stands for Northern Jiaotong Univeristy, which is located in Beijing, China. NJTU has a history of more than 100 years. "Jiaotong" is a word directly quoted from Chinese which stands for "transportation". So you can see that NJTU is specialized in transportation field. Actually, it is more specialized towards railway transportation. NJTU is a key university in China and has more than 25 department and research institutes. Currently, we have 25 members in our chapter who had his/her either undergraduate or postgraduate or both education at NJTU. We welcome those who have some connection with NJTU in the past, whether just came to D.C. area, or have stayed here for a while but have not joined us yet, to contact and join us. For this purpose, we have a join function for you and you can follow the link to send in your information and this will automatically make you an member of this chapter.
If you are interested in finding some one who graduated from NJTU and may currently reside in Washington metropolitan D.C. area, you may go to check our member list . Another way to do this is to have a look at our recent get-together picture. We hope you will find one or more of your familiar faces here or find the infomation you wanted.
If you are interested in establishing some kind of connection with NJTU, for example, if you want to study at NJTU, or teach or do research there, you have come to the right place. For those who are either currently studying at NJTU or has graduated from NJTU and are working inside China or somewhere in the world, are interested in coming to D.C. area for study or work, you are more than welcome to contact us. We can help you to find a place to live before you come, or help you to handle various needs related with your coming to this area.
