DC alumni held a welcome party for Jiaoda delegation
A Jiaoda delegation led by President Tan Zhen-Hui visited D.C area
during Nov 13-15 period. The delegation had a formal meeting
with representatives of DC area alumni on 11/14 at Chinese embassy
and a lunch together afterward.
During the meeting, the delegation updated the alumni of the new development
in Jioada and both side discussed how alumni can contribute to Jiaoda
development in future.
The tentative agreements reached during the meeting were:
* Our DC alumni will help Jiaoda in construction and maintenance of Jiaoda's English web site.
* Jiaoda is very willing to invite some of our alumni to be its advisory faculty members and would like invite us to visit the campus and give lectures when anyone of us have a chance to go back to Beijing.
The formal methods in implementing above two things are still under cooking and please keep tuned.
