On July 10, 1999, NJTU Alumni DC sector had a great gathering.
About 11 families attended the activities. First, we went to the annual CSCUAA picnic at Blackhill Regional
Park, Maryland. The unique point about this picnic was that
we used Alumni Bulletine Board to coordinate our efforts which was
a great success. We had much better food than the other schools
surrounding us. Our food was so good that it caused a lot of problems for us to watch our food and drinks
from stealing by those in other groups who could not control themselves :-).
After the picnic, we went to Zhenliang and Wenli's home near by the park to watch the Women's World Cup Soccer Final between China and U.S. together. All of us rooted for China and had a great time at Zhenliang's home. Unfortunately China lost the game. We had a great day anyway. |
