Mr.Max Mosley, President FIA was able to use his 'POWERS' even on the members of the International Court of Appeal, which held that the FIA had acted in accordance with the Statutes, though the final decision would be by the FIA General Assembly, while conveniently ignoring the several points raised by the FMSCI with regard to the MAI membership.
It is at this juncture the FIA had called for an EGM.
One of the Agenda point was "Election of a world council member IN PLACE OF MR.NAZIR HOOSEIN". However, Mr.Nazir Hoosein was reelected in to the FIA World Council, but as "CHINA'S REPRESENTATIVE".
It is a pity that the world's largest populated Country, could not find a single person to represent them at the FIA World Council and they chose Mr.Nazir (an Indian???) to represent China.
and when the point of Sporting Power in India came about, Mr.Nazir Hoosein who was elected to the World Council to represent the interest of China DEMANDED the Sporting Power of India.
There a few points to be noted. Mr.Nazir Hoosein is so obsessed with Power and Prestige that he wanted his Council seat back, whether he represents India, China or any other Country as a matter of fact. What a personality!!!! and having elected to the World Council as China representative wants control over Indian Motor Sports !!!!
I really could not understand that how a Chinese representative could control Indian Motor Sports !!! Please bear this in mind, tomorrow Mr.Nazir Hoosein, may ask for Sporting Power of any Country and Mr.Max Mosley would violate all rules of natural justice, the FIA's own Statutes, use his powers on anyone to ensure that the same is given to Mr.Nazir Hoosein.
The FIA EGM, as per Mr.Quenby's suggestion, wanted to give some more time to resolve the differences between Mr.Nazir Hoosein and the FMSCI. This Mr.Nazir Hoosein did not agree to and the matter was put to vote. Mr.Nazir Hoosein got ONLY 2 VOTES while all the others voted in favour of resolving the difference.
While thanking the EGM for not transferring the Indian Sporting Power to China it must be noted here that Mr.Nazir Hoosein was clearly not for resolving the differences with the FMSCI and this is not going to work out, not because of FMSCI's fault but due to sheer non-cooperation from Mr.Nazir Hoosein.
IT
MUST BE NOTED HERE THAT MR.NAZIR HOOSEIN IS NOT INTERESTED IN INDIAN MOTOR
SPORTS, IF HE IS, THEN WITHOUT EVEN WAITING FOR THE AGENDA POINT CONCERNING
INDIAN MOTOR SPORTS WHY DID HE CHOSE TO REPRESENT CHINA ??? WHETHER
IT IS CHINA, OR ANY COUNTRY, HE WANT HIS WORLD COUNCIL SEAT, PRESTIGE AND
POWER. THAT IS ALL.
How
do you expect a person to promote Motor Sports in China and control motor
sports in India ?
Ridiculous. But that is the way the FIA under the presidentship of Mr.Max works!!!
Now coming to the FIA's World Council decision :
Art.16(3) - FIA stated that the decision of transfer of sporting power CANNOT AWAIT General Assembly, hence this has to be done immediately due to emergency!!!! The ICA confirmed that the General Assembly only can ratify this.
NOW THE EGM HAS POSTPONED IT TILL OCTOBER 2000, WHICH SIMPLY GOES TO SHOW THAT THE MATTER CAN WAIT TILL OCTOBER 2000 AND THERE IS NO EMERGENCY WHATSOEVER, AS CLAIMED BY THE FIA WORLD COUNCIL.
Art.16(20) - FIA was not represented properly in India.
IF MR.MAX MOSLEY FEELS THAT THE FIA CAN BE REPRESENTED PROPERLY ONLY BY A CHINESE REPRESENTATIVE, WE ALL AGREE THAT THE FMSCI DID NOT REPRESENT FIA PROPERLY IN INDIA.
MR.MAX, ONLY YOU CAN DO THIS !!!
Now to the Sporting Power in India....Who holds it ?
The FIA Sporting Power in India can be exercised by none as of date for a simple reason that the FIA Council had recommended to the FIA General Assembly the transfer ot Sporting Power to MAI, which would be finally decided by the General Assembly. As such, the matter is still under dispute, hence cannot be exercised by any one till the FIA General Assembly takes a decision.
Mr.Nazir Hoosein feels that the FIA World Council is SUPERIOR to the FIA General Assembly and is advertising that the Sporting Power is with MAI.
FMSCI is still the only body recognised by the Government of India. While FIA throws the book at any new applicant for sporting power asking them WHERE IS THE GOVERNMENT'S RECOGNITION, they played it under in the case of MAI, reason well known, Mr.Nazir Hoosein's relationship with Mr.Max Mosley!!!
In conclusion, IF THE
FIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY FEELS THAT THE FIA WORLD COUNCIL IS SUPERIOR AND CHINA
CAN CONTROL INDIAN MOTOR SPORTS, FIA CAN VIOLATE ANY RULE IN THE STATUTES
TO ACCOMODATE THE PRESIDENT'S FRIEND, THEN LET THE SPORTING POWER BE TRANSFERED
TO MAI.
