Alexander

There’s a softness in his eyes.
A blue that whispers kindness.
His smile screams out to me.
Maybe, saying he could love me.
If only I’d let him.
I’m not sure why I get so frightened
When he comes around.
I’ve never acted this way before.
I suppose, I’m falling in love again,
And love I’m so afraid of.
