Don't Blame Me

Loneliness must be bored
of having me around so
much for it’s throwing me
towards you.
It holds all the love I keep
inside and I notice it is
gifting it away.
This heart has more
control over me than I do
it.
So, don’t blame me if I
ever say “I love you”.
It will only be my heart
speaking.
For the rest of me has
shied away from
everything this world has
to cruelly offer.
