Hello from Central Maryland (the Free state). Yes, I am from a Southern descent with ancestor's whom served in the Great Army of Northern Virginia, Co. E, ("Hedgesville Blues") part of the "Stonewall Brigade". I have been studying the Civil War with great interest and it is fascinating what took place in our country. We CANNOT EVER FORGET our Heritage and what took place here, in our own back yards!
I have made an attempt to put together several pages of Civil War information with regard to my involvement, the 2nd Virginia Infantry, Co E (Hedgesville Blues) and the "1st Maryland Artillery, C.S.A.", a Reactivated Living History / Reenactment Artillery Battery.
