Subject: Recognition of Good Achievements
After hearing the soror from the Gamma Chi chapter share of her chapters
academic success, it reminded me of my most recent trip.
I just came back from being in Maryland for a week. I was visiting a
colleague at the University of Maryland-College Park who works in the
Office of Student Programs. I arrived early and began to walk around
the campus center. I came across a bulletin board about greek life at
College Park and noticed that our sorors were awarded with the highest
honor at the Greek Awards. They were photograped receiving the award.
I was sooo proud.
Sorors at Gamma Chi and on any other campus. If no one else is willing
to display your successes (academic, community service, etc) I suggest
that that you showcase your own success. I know that College Park has
established a program that is dedicated to greek life- in comparison to
other colleges. I feel that it is important to let your good work
shine.
Congrats sorors at Gamma Chi. Sorors, grad and undergrad, need to get
their good works out. We must be not dwell in what we are not good at.
We must use what we are good at to persevere.
