Hello and Welcome to my site.  I have had the hobby of sewing for almost 4 years.  I started with sewing my own curtains to save money.  Then my husbands grandmother from Texas made this beautiful quilt for us as a Christmas gift.  I had never seen fabric used in the ways she did.  Of course she’s made quilts for years and entered them in her local towns fair.  After showing off the quilt and curious to know how she made it, I soon found out I had a passion for sewing and quilting.  My grandmother here in Georgia also quilts, though hers are to mostly just to keep you warm.  But are still beautiful just being from her and her heart.

Quilt that started it all…  Made by Velma Maynard Carson of Texas.

FOR NO REASON ARE ANY OF THE QUILT PHOTOS ON THIS PAGE TO BE

COPIED, SAVED OR REPRODUCED WITH OUT MY PERMISSION!!!!

PLEASE REFER TO CONTACT PAGE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO ANY OF THOSE THINGS!!!

Is my favorite flower to make.  And is really simple to make.  Perfect for a Girl Quilt.

Is another favorite.  Makes me think of a Mum.

This is the side of the quilt.  It is like this one three sides.  Top is just a simple binding.  I think the Prairie Points made a spectacular addition.

Mrs. Carson entered this Quilt her local fair.  I think she got 2nd or 3rd.  I can’t remember.
