Weigh Down Workshop


" It is a slow process, but I have learned that in order lose weight and keep it off, I must eat in moderation, and eat only when I am truly hungry. Generally I eat 3 meals a day, which include my favorite foods, but I eat much less than I did before starting Weigh Down. I also attend the weekly meetings with others from my church. We watch a video each week, in which Gwen Shamblin (the founder of WDW) discusses issues related to weight control, and then we have time for group discussion and prayer. This program has not only helped me to lose weight, but it has enriched my spiritual life! I have lost 40 pounds since January of 1997 and still have 40 more to lose." - Diane
