WEDDING: Took place in 1986. This was when Marlena thought that she was marrying Roman, who had been held captive. Since John was found out to be John and not Roman, of coarse, the marrige was not legal. Their second wedding took place in 1997. Kristan brought a sick Roman there who was then believed to be dead by everyone in Salem. The wedding was postponed until they could confirm the identity of him, which they later did. The wedding never happened. Ok....now to the third wedding. This one was real and very special. It took place on July 6, 1999. THE PEOPLE WHO ARE A THREAT TO THEM

Tony: Tony is back from the dead, and John is determined to bring him down. The plot thickened when John discovered that he and Tony are really half brothers. Their mother was Daphne DiMera. To make things worse, Tony seems to be seems to be interested in Marlena romantically. Does he have bigger plans for her?

Cassie and Rex: These twins are thought to be Marlena's children. Little does she know that Cassie and Rex now know the truth -- Kate and Roman are really their parents, not Marlena and Tony. However, Marlena's attention to them has caused rifts between her and John before. John thinks that they are DiMeras and has never wanted anything to do with them. Lately, he has come to accept them as Marlena's children, but who knows what future conflicts lie ahead?

Hope: Not really a threat anymore, but she did sleep with John when she thought she was Princess Gina. Marlena is aware of this and there was some tention for awhile, but things have gotten better.

Roman: Marlena's ex-hubby who is still in love with her. However, Roman has been romancing Kate Roberts recently. It seems that this threat has faded into the background.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS COUPLE

I'm glad that John and Marlena are together. It looks like, for now, everything is OK between them. With Tony back, things could get interesting.
