GOODBYE, SALEM!
Some have stayed together; others have split. However, all of these couples have one thing in common: each person no longer lives in Salem.
ERIC & GRETA

NAMES: Eric Roman Brady and Greta Von Amberg
THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAY(ED) THEM: Jensen Ackles and Julianne Morris
SPECIAL GIFT: Greta bought Eric a digital camera for Christmas.
THEIR FIRST KISS: Happened in France. It was not only their first kiss, but Greta's first ever.
THE PEOPLE WHO WERE A THREAT TO THEM
Nicole: Eric's ex who was married to Lucas, but still had feelings for Eric. She schemed in order to get him back – and succeeded in making Eric continue to have feelings for her.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COUPLE
Eric could never get Nicole out of his mind. He ended up cheating on Greta with Nicole and left town soon later.
CRAIG & NANCY
JUST THE FACTS
NAMES: Craig Wesley and Nancy Wesley
THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAYED THEM: Kevin Spirtas and Patrika Darbo
WEDDING: Yes, they are married, but I know nothing of the wedding. The two came to Salem already married. They recently renewed their vows in Las Vegas.
CHILDREN: Chloe Lane and Joy. It was finally revealed that Craig is the biological of the daughter that he has raised as his own for the last few years. Although Nancy originally thought that Chloe's father was the man who raped her, DNA tests proved otherwise. In 2003, Nancy gave birth to Joy. She was able to give her big sister Chloe the bone marrow she need to beat cancer.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COUPLE?
Doctor Craig got a job in New York and moved the whole family out of Salem.
MIKE & CARRIE
JUST THE FACTS
NAMES: Carrie Brady Reed & Dr. Michael Horton
THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAYED THEM: Christie Clark and Roark Critchlow

THEIR FIRST KISS: Happened on the Fourth of July at the Horton/Brady Picnic. Mike had just found out that he had gotten the Cheif-of-Staff position at University Hospitol.
THE PEOPLE WHO WERE A THREAT TO THEM
Austin: Austin was Carrie's husbend and they were still in love with eachother, all though there was lot of hurt between them.
Craig and Nancy: They both were trying to create a scandal for Mike by exposing Mike and Carrie's close relationship.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COUPLE
Mike left town for awhile, to think and let Carrie sort things out. A few months later, he came back and proposed to Carrie. The two left town together, planning to marry.
CARRIE & AUSTIN
JUST THE FACTS
NAMES: Austin Reed and Carrie Brady Reed
THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAYED THEM: Christie Clark and Austin Peck; Patrick Muldoon (1992-1995).
WEDDING: Their first wedding took place in 1995, but was broken up by Sami who claimed that she was pregnent with Austin's child. Their second wedding took place in the fall of 1997. It was originally going to be Sami and Austin's wedding, but Carrie and Austin ended up getting married the day when they found out that Sami had been lying to them about Will's paternity.
SPECIAL SONG: "I Only Have Eyes For You" by the Flamingos.

THE PEOPLE WHO WERE A THREAT TO THEM
Mike Horton: He and Carrie were in love with eachother and were very open to eachother about this. Carrie had to make a decision about which man she wanted.
Sami: Sami did some outragous things to win her sister's beau over, including drugging him in order to sleep with him. She got pregnent and assumed that the child was Austin's. Then she found out years later that he wasn't, and then hid the truth from Austin. She also faked amnesia to keep Austin by her side and tried to get Carrie to fall in love with Mike while she was still married to Austin. The list goes on and on...
Creig and Nancy: This husbend and wife team would have liked nothing more than to see Carrie leave Austin for Mike. They wanted to catch the two in a compromising position to create scandal for Mike. Dr. Creig wanted Mike's Chief-of-Staff job -- and will did anything to get it!
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COUPLE?
Carrie and Austin could never sort out the problems in their marriage. She was still in love with Mike and so they decided that it was time that they both move on. They finally divorced.
MIKE & ALI

NAMES: Dr. Mike Horton and Alison "Ali" McIntyre
THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAYED THEM: Roark Critchlow and Lisa Linde
THE PEOPLE WHO WERE A THREAT TO THEM
Carrie: Mike's married lover, who had it in for Ali. Or maybe the other way around.
Mike: Wanted nothing to do with Nurse McInyre.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?
Ali was finally sent to mental hospital. Mike and Carrie rode off into the sunset, engage to be married.
STEFANO & GINA

NAMES: Stefano DiMera and Princess Gina Von Amburg
THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAYED THEM: Joseph Mascolo
CHILDREN: Not that the audience is aware of...
NICKNAMES:Gina often called Stefano "Stefie".
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COUPLE?
There was never really much to this couple, probably just a fling or two. But, as I said earlier, Gina died.
VIVIAN & STEFANO
JUST THE FACTS
NAMES: Vivian Alamain DiMera and Stefano DiMera
THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAYED THEM: Louise Sorel and Joseph Mascolo
WEDDING: Were married in a hot air balloon. Vivian's intentions were to get Stefano's stocks at "Titan Interprises".
CHILDREN: None
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COUPLE?
Vivian found out that Stefano had planted a chip in her tooth, allowing him to control her moods. She faked that she was dying for a while, making Stefano feel guilty. He signed over his 49% Titan stock to Vivian, thinking that she was gonna die anyway. Soon after, she made a quick recovery. They divorced. She recently left town with Ivan.
