THE FINE ACTORS WHO PORTRAY THEM: Arianne Zucker and John Aniston

WEDDING: Took place on New Years Eve, 2002. Prior to the event, Victor saw a tape of Nicole and Colin making love. Furious, Victor vowed revenge. He married Nicole anyway, but the wedding ended with a bang when Colin was shot by Nicole. Victor knows this and has been blackmailing her with the information ever since.

THE PEOPLE WHO ARE A THREAT TO THEM

Kate: Victor's ex. She and Nicole share a mutual hatred for eachother.

Philip: He doesn't really like the fact that his father is married to someone who is not much older than he is, but he has learned to except it. Recently, he discovered that his father has been keeping Nicole somewhat of a prisoner in her own home. There is no telling what he will do with that information.

Themselves: They basically hate each other. Victor is angry at Nicole for cheating on him before their wedding; Nicole is angry at him for keeping a tight reign on her and treating her like dirt. Recently, Nicole even hired a hitman to bump Victor off. The mission failed and it seems that she is not planning to try again, but Victor suspects that she was behind it.

Brady: Victor's grandson. He has recently moved into the mansion and is raising questions about the stability of his grandad's marriage. Also, the idea of a Brady/Nicole pairing is not too far fetched. After all, the actors (Kyle and Arianne) are married in real-life.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS COUPLE

I have enjoyed seeing this story play out. In some ways, I believe that Nicole deserves what she gets. She married someone old enough to be her grandfather and cheated on him even before she walked down the isle. But other times, I feel sorry for her. She has been through a lot in her life and has made a lot of mistakes which have driven her to make more mistakes. It has been vicious cycle. Victor's past behavior, on the other hand, has been purely evil.
