A Tribute To Gary Ablett

This page is a tribute to the greatest footballer of all time, Gary Ablett. Born Gary Robert Ablett on October 1st 1961. He is 185 cm tall, and weighs 97 kg. In 1993, Ablett became the 2nd fastest player to kick 100 goals. The legendary Bob Pratt did it in 13 games, Ablett did it in 14. In 1996, Ablett joined Gordon Coventry, Doug Wade, Jason Dunstall and Tony Lockett in kicking 1000 VFL/AFL goals. In 1996 Ablett joined greats from the past, and current in The Team Of The Century. Gary Ablett is one of only 2 players to win the Norm Smith medal from a losing grand final side. (The other is Maurice Rioli from Richmond)
