Many Unhappy Returns
I bought a brand new sweater
that looked awesome in the store.
But when I brought it home, I wondered
“what’d I buy this for?”
I bought a brand new game
that looked so fun in all the ads.
But once I played it, I knew
“it’s just one of those dumb fads”.
I bought a brand new book
about moon walks and space exploring.
But when I read it, I lamented,
“Man, this book is boring!”
I can’t decide beforehand,
what I like. It’s such a waste.
I’m just like a diet soda
my worst problem’s after taste.
