Honk Goes The Moose

Honk Goes The Moose

If a moose
turned into a goose,
he'd have
tail feathers
for a caboose.

His mouth
would become a beak.
So he'd honk
when he tried to speak.

His feet
would turn
orangish red.
His antlers
would fall
from his head.

I really feel sorry
for mooses
who somehow
get turned
into gooses.

in "A Pocketful of Rhymes".
