Asking For Trouble

I went to the pet store
and asked this guy, Steve,
"Can a cat get dog tired?"
He asked me to leave.

I went to the market
and asked this guy, Mo,
Can an orange go plum crazy?"
He asked me to go.

I went to the circus
and asked this guy, Sam,
"Can a tiger have horse sense?"
He told me to scram.

I asked mom a question
on my way out to play.
"Can mommies give bear hugs?"
She asked me to stay.
