Hand Print Theory.. After seeing the pile of "????" on the steps, Mike sees an erie scene on the wall. Handprints everywhere. All sizes. Look for yourself.

Theory 1.)Rustin Parr (house owner) was believed to have killed 7 children. THESE are the handprints of the children.

Theory 2.)Parr ripped off the hands of the children and just used them as ink stamps.

Theory 3.)Since there are writtings on the wall that look satanic, these were the handprints of cultist that lived there before.

Theory 4.)Kim Breton -I believe the handprints signify the young children that were killed... and maybe even the men (big and small prints). Maybe their spirits/ghosts are trapped in the cabin/shack and the handprints pushing on the walls is their way of trying to show their frustrations of being trapped.

Theory 5.)Ashley -I think the handprints simbolize every one who has been in that house running for their lives- Mike and Heather both put their hands on on the wall when they were running up & down to find josh. That house has probably been there reappearing for hundreds of years & the 7 children were the only incidents recorded - that they know of.
