History
I dreamed of owning a 1994 RF900R as soon as they came out. I was married at the time and if you're married you know how hard it is to get toys. But my wife was ok with it cause she wanted the RF600. But with ALL of the credit cards we could'nt get 2 financed. So after our divorce my girlfriend knowing about my desire for the RF, bought me one. WOW it was great, took it out of the lot brand new unsmoked tires and all, (you can guess where this is going), and boom I went down. So excited about getting it on the road I didn't smoke the back tire and took it down quick. No problem and no damage. Just a couple of scratches. On the way home this old guy in a 63 valiant, ran me off the road sending me down yet a second time in the same day. (maybe the bike isn't for me). There was a little bit of damage done this time. So I took it home and rested it for about 23 hours. It rode good for 3 months. Until I went on my cruise. I parked it in the garage of my job while I was gone and when I came back my baby had been backed into, no note, no nothing. I knew then the RF was not for me I am still on a mission to purchase another one. And I will. Happy riding.
