Chapter 6

“Omigod, this is huge,” Meg said staring at the giant house.

“It’s so beautiful,” Sam said.

“C’mon girls, We’ll show you your rooms,” Dan said grabbing Sam’s hand.

They walked in and headed up the huge staircase. Everything was perfect, as if it was an untouched dollhouse.

“Ok, here is the guestroom. We have two beds in here so you guys can share if you want but we have another room down the hall.” Dan said.

“We’ll share,” Sam and Meg said in unison.

“Ok, when you are done unpacking Jane will show you around. She’s left for the story a few minutes ago, so take your time. Sorry if I seem rude but I have to go down and meet with some clients. I designed the set for their tour,” Dan said.

“That’s gotta be and awesome job,” Sam said very interested.

“I really enjoy what I do, well girls I’ll see ya later,” Dan said as he headed out the bedroom door.

Sam was almost all the way unpacked when she reached into her bag an pulled out her framed pictures. One was herself, her mom, and her dad. Sam’s dad left when she was ten and refused to pay child support. She loved him even though he hurt her so much. One of the other pictures was of her and Megan from last summer, and the last one was of her blond bombshell from her fav group, The Backsreet Boys. The girls finished unpacking and headed downstairs.

“Meg………” Sam said stumbling to walk down the steps.

“What?” Meg said turning around.

Sam collapsed grabbling Megs hand. Sam fell down a step onto the marble floor. Meg struggled to keep her footing but stayed up still holding Sam’s hand.

“Sam!” Meg screamed. “Someone HELP. HELP”

Dan came running followed by a few other guys.

“What’s wrong?” Dan asked.

“Sam passed out coming down the steps,” Meg said nervously.

“I’ll call an ambulance,” Dan said running to kitchen.

“Guys don’t move her, she might have a neck or spine injury. I was watchin rescue 911 last night and that’s what the paramedics were saying,” the blond said grabbling Sam’s other hand.

“Well this hard marble floor isn’t helping,” the older dark haired guy said in response.

“I’ll take her to the couch then,” the blond said grabbing Sam’s knees and cradling her back. Sam was lifeless, her arms hanging down as he carried her. Meg and the four others followed them to the large family room.

“If you don’t mind me asking, do you know why she fainted?” One of the cute men asked.

“Ummmm…….”Meg said. She knew it was something related to her cancer but she didn’t think it was right to tell this nice looking stranger. “No I don’t,” she finally said.

“By the way, my name is Brian,” he said extending his hand. “Nice to meet you.”

“Omigod,” Meg said to herself while she shook his hand. “I can’t believe I didn’t realize who these guys were sooner. I was so worried about Sam I didn’t realized my idols were standing feet, no inches, maybe event centimeters away.

“What’s your name?” he asked. “I didn’t catch it.”

“Ummmm…Ummmmm...Ummm…” she stuttered.
