Chapter 5

Time had flown by and the next thing Sam knew she was standing in the airport hugging her mom just minutes before the plane was to take off.

“Sam, They said we better board now. If we don’t it could take off with out us,” Meg said worried.

“Now Sam, remember call me anytime on my cell phone and if you can’t get through on that, beep me. I will call you as soon as I can,” Her mom said in tears.

“I know mom, I will. We have to go, I will call you when we get to Aunt Jane’s,” Sam said reassuring her mom.

Sam and her mom hugged one last time and Meg and Sam made there way to the departure gate doors.

“I am so happy this worked out like this Sam. I thought we would be separated for months and I don’t think I could have survived,” Meg said ducking her head at a women’s failed attempt to get bags in the over head compartment.

“I am too. It’s gonna be good for me to have at least one familiar face in Florida,” Sam said.

“Ya know what Sam?” Meg asked mysteriously. Sam knotted for Meg to continue. “We are gonna be SUPER CLOSE to some SUPER SEXY GUYS.”

“I know, but I doubt we will get to meet them or even see them this whole time,” Sam said bursting Meg’s bubble.

“Well it’s a possibility,” Megs replied.

“Ladies, it’s time to leave now,” the flight assistant said shaking Megan.

“Huh, what?” Meg asked waking.

“Ladies, it is time to get off the plane, we have arrived in Florida,” she announced trying to get the two girls up.

“Ok,” Sam said as she unfastened her seatbelt.

“I can’t believe we both fell asleep like that,” Meg said as she grabbed her bag from the overhead compartment.

The girl had finally reached Florida. They got off the plane and headed for the baggage terminal. They quickly found their luggage and headed for the main exit to find Sam’s aunt.

Samantha felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to find a middle-aged woman with light brown hair and light blue eyes.

“You’re Samantha, right?” the lady asked.

“Yeah, do I know you?” Sam asked.

“Yes, I’m your Aunt Jane,” she replied.

“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t recognize you,” Sam said embarrassed. “You’ve changed a lot since I saw you.”

“Yes, as you may remember I was fat, but I lost weight and dyed my hair,” her aunt said with confidence pointing at her body like Vanna White. “And you’ve gotten a lot bigger.”

“Yea, I have gotten taller,” Sam replied. She didn’t know what else to say. She hadn’t seen her aunt for a long time and even when she did they barley talked. “Oh, this is my best friend, Megan,” Sam said. She almost forgot Meg was even there.

“Nice to meet you,” Meg said as she shook Jane’s hand.

“You to hun,” she replied. “C’mon, my boyfriend Dan is waiting in the car.”

“This is so beautiful,” Meg said popping her head out the sunroof as she admired the scenery.

“Have you girls ever been to Florida?” Dan asked as her shifted gears.

“I was when I was eight or nine but I don’t remember it,” Sam said as she fought Meg to look out the sunroof.

“Not me, this is all new,” Meg said pushing Sam out of the way.

“Well we’re here,” Aunt Jane said.

“The girls were surprised, they had spent so much time fighting to look out the sunroof they hadn’t noticed the car had stopped. They looked out the window and were astonished by what they saw.
