"Brian!" Megan Littrell yelled to her brother Brian.
"What?" he yelled back.
"Phone!" Megan dropped the phone onto a kitchen chair and went back out the french glass doors to the Littrell's pool. She dove in.
"Who is it?" screamed Brian, who was up in his bedroom watching television. There was no answer.
"WHO IS IT?!?" screamed Brian at the top of his lungs. When he only heard silence, Brian slammed the remote control to the floor, turned off the TV, and stormed down the stairs, muttering about "damn little sisters" and such.
"Hello?" he said impatiently into the phone.
"Hey, B, it's me, Kev. Guess what? Well, the four of us, me, Nick, AJ and Howie are in town, and we kinda need a place to stay 'cause of the concert here next week," answered Brian's cousin, Kevin richardson, speaking of Nick Carter, 18, AJ McLean, 21, and Howie Dorough, 25. Kevin was 27, and Brian was 24. The five of them were in a group called TheBackstreet Boys. They were starting a tour of the US, and the first concert wasto be held in Brian's hometown of Lexington, Kentucky.
"Let me guess...you guys want to stay here?" said Brian.
"WEll, yeah, thanks for asking!" replied Kevin.
"Weeelllll...I don't know, I'd have to check with Megan-"
"Awwww, come on. Ya'll have plenty of extra space, and I'm sure Meg wouldn't mind. She's only 15, after all, idn't she?" said Kevin.
"She's 17, almost 18. And ever since Mama and Daddy died she's been taking care of this place."
"Please?"
Brian thought for a moment. "Well...alright. But let me tell Megs first. Where are ou guys?"
"Well, uh, you better go tell her now. Look out the window."
Brian did, and he saw a big RV parked in his driveway. Kevin was waving to him out the driver's side window, holding a cell phone in his hand. Ohhhh...great, Brian thought. He hung up the phone and raced outside.
Meanwhile, Megan was out back, lying on a hair in a skimpy black bikini, sunning herself. The bikini showed off her long legs, smooth stomach, and her muscular (but slim) arms. Her medium length brown hair was cascading over her shoulders glamorously. And her eyes, golden gray and blue, were sparkling behind a pair of sexy Oakleys. She got up and went into the house to get a glass of iced tea.
When she walked in, she called to Brian, "Who was on the phone?" When no reply came, she shrugged and took her iced tea back outside.
Brian entered the house, loaded down with duffel bags and sutcases. "Geez," he said. "How long are ou guys staying?"
"A week and a half, I think," AJ called from outside.
Oh, Lord, he thought to himself. And Megan doesn't know this yet... Brian took the bags and put them in various guest bedrooms.
Out back, Megan yawned and said to herself, Oh, I'm tired, I think I'll take a little nap... She drifted to sleep.
Meanwhile, Nick Carter was exploring the Littrell's enormous house. Although he was best friends with Brian, he had never been to his house before. This place is huge, he thought to himself. Downstairs, there were two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a TV room, a lounge with a pool table, a family room, and a library. Then he made his way out to the sunporch, which led out to the pool.
"Woah, this place is awesome!" he said aloud to himself. He tossed his sun-kissed blonde hair. With his hair and blue-green eyes, Nick was the "hottie" of the group. He was tall, 6'1", and extremely muscular. He had a killer smile that made all his fans weak in the knees. And, like all his fellow bandmates, he had a gorgeous voice. As he looked around, he saw Megan sleeping in her chair across the pool. And he totally fell in love. He loved everthing about her, and he'd never even met her. Well, he thought as he gazed at her, I guess there IS such a thing as love at first sight.
"Nick, Nick, where are you?" came a voice from inside the house. Kevin walked through the door and onto the porch. With his talk, dark looks, Kevin was DEFINATELY the sexiest of the group. He was often considered the "big brother" of the group, especially to Nick.
"WHO is THAT?" Nick asked Kevin, pointing at Megan.
"Oh, her? That's my cousin, Megan, B's little sister, said Kevin. "Now come on, Brian's showing us our rooms." Kevin grabbed him by the back of his shirt and started to drag him into the house. "Why? You don't have a thing for her, doyou? I mean, she's a pretty hott girl. But she's a feisty 'lil thang, and she's like a sister to me."
"Oh, of course not," muttered Nick, totally not convincing Kevin. They both went inside, Nick glancing longingly one last time at Megan.
