Welcome to the Ashley Kupets website. Not many people have heard of Ashley Kupets, but those who have know her as a hard worker and free spirit. After all, Ashley has never been in a National Championships. But with hard work, Ashley is improving rapidly. In February 1998, Ashley earned a bronze medal for her floor exercise at the American Classic and a spot in the National Championships, to be held in August. With this huge boost of confidence, Ashley was psyched. Right around the corner, a possible National Championship Title.
But the National Championships were not to be. She severely injured her ankle in practice and was forced to withdraw from the Championships. Heartbroken, Ashley returned to training. After her ankle healed she put herself up to the next test, the 1999 U.S. Classic. Even though Ashley had a rough meet, she qualified to the 1999 Nationals. But once again, it was not to be. A few days before she was supposed to leave for Sacramento, Ashley once again hurt her ankle in practice. Now she is looking to her teammates, family, friends, and fans for support during this challenge. Putting her past behind her, Ashley is perservering to become the champion that sits inside her. Good Luck Ashley!
