Life is Hard! Jesus knows that. He is God's son and he left heaven to rescue you. As a man he endured all the hardships common to humanity. Although he never sinned, he endured pain, loneliness, rejection, and death. At the end of his ministry, he offered himself as a sacrifice, and died on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity. God raised him from the grave and now Jesus reigns in Heaven. He is alive, and He cares for you! Being God, he knows your thoughts and your circumstances and can rescue you. Being man, he understands what you are going through. He loves you, and His sacrifice was for you. He wants a relationship with you. This is an invitation. Jesus says: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with with me" Revelation 3:20. Will you accept this invitation? |
