| At redbae reg'd,
we strive to produce Labrador Retrievers which embody
the finest qualities in temperament, health, soundness, type, and trainability.
First and foremost, our Labradors are loving pets and companions for their owners. But
they have also proven that they can also "run with the best" in the country,
in the show ring, in obedience, and in the field. |

We acquired the first of our Labrador foundation stock in 1991 with the purchase of
"Lacey," Multi BISS Can. Ch. Kikibit's Pachena, from John & Val Reith of Kikibit's
Kennels. |

The highlight of Lacey's show career came in 1999, when at the age of 8 years young,
she was Best of Breed from the Veteran's class at the Canadian National Specialty.
Her first litter, by BISS Ranbourne This Bud's For You, became affectionately
known as the "Prairie WildFlowers." This litter attained many wonderful achievements,
including multiple Best in Specialty, Best in Show, Best Puppy in
Specialty Show, Award of Merit, Brood Bitch, Stud Dog, Gun Dog, Best Puppy in
Group, Group First, Group Placement awards, and multiple placings in the Canadian Top
Labrador rankings. |

| Our second bitch,
Ch. Roanoke's Amber Light joined the household in 1993. Her progeny, and those of Ch.
Redbae's Sweet Cicely at Blakoke, have also had stellar careers in show, obedience, and
field work. |

Shine's show career began in March 2001, and in just seven weekends out as a puppy,
she had amassed
- 5 Best Puppy in Show
- 10 Best Puppy in Group
- 18 Best Puppy in Breed
Throughout the year 2001, as a puppy and as an adult, Shine also had Multiple Group
Wins and Placements, Best of Breed, and Best of Opposite awards. |

Shine achieved breed ranking as # 5 Labrador and # 1 Labrador bitch in Canada
for 2001. She won a Judge's Award of Merit at the 2002 Labrador Retriever Club
of Canada National Specialty, and completed her American Championship early in 2003.

| Redbae is a
small-scale hobby breeder, and we produce home-raised litters on an occasional basis.
All breeding stock is screened for orthopaedic and other health problems.
