HawgWyld & Joubert's Manly Write-Off

What? Three years already? Yes, indeed, kids. Ethan (HawgWyld) will celebrate his 3rd anniversary on June 15, while George (Joubert) celebrates his on June 18. Certainly you folks know of the famed HawgWyld and Joubert? Why, Joubert is a category lead in online stores & services; an advisor in hotels & travel, personal finance, business & technology, books and magazines & newspapers; and a top reviewer in hotels & travel. HawgWyld, meanwhile, is a loudmouth and malcontent who's typically up to no good. At any rate, HawgWyld and Joubert are celebrating their big, fat anniversaries with a Manly Write Off! That's right. The topic du jour covers stuff that manly men would like. So, spit a little, open up a brew and write all about your favorite cheap beer, Lethal Weapon movie, sports video game or anything else that's good and manly. “But, I'm a gurl,” you might say. “I'm not manly! That Joubert's a nice fella and all, but I just couldn't participate!” Ah, hold on there, Sally. HawgWyld isn't Spanky, Joubert isn't Alfalfa and this ain't the He Man Woman Hater's Club. Women are, of course, invited and we hope they show up in droves and write like crazy. Besides, HawgWyld's anniversary happens to fall on Father's Day – the manliest holiday of the year! So, dearie, hitch up your stockings and write an essay about your father (assuming, of course, he's a man!) or a favorite gift you've bought him at some point on “his” day.
