The Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance sponsors the "Hearts-to-Hands" forward giving program. Our primary focus is assisting individuals, families, groups, and charitable organizations in the area of health and wellness. The program provides individuals and local community service organizations with products and grant money for food, shelter, therapy, medical care, health education and rehabilitation, and wellness prevention programs. What Products and Services Do You Provide?

Some of the products we provide are: food, diapers, blankets, clothing and furniture, and medical supplies such as blood pressure cuffs, oxygen tanks, walkers, etc. Some of the services we provide through our granting program are: physical therapy, counseling and psychiatric treatment, medical exams, health education classes, etc. We serve a large population such as the uninsured, mental health patients, single pregnant women, infants and children, low income and minority groups, disabled, elderly, and at-risk youth and people of all ages who are in need of rehabilitation, food, housing, and health and wellness education. What Can I Do to Help?

There are many ways to help! We greatly appreciate ANY and ALL donations. You can give us a FEW DOLLARS right now by paying online with a credit card. If you are planning on donating to "Hearts-to-Hands," you can download a thank you letter from the Executive Director. If you would like to help us out by volunteering your services, we are in need of volunteers to help us deliver products, medical supplies, furniture, clothing, and to make telephone calls to donors in the Monterey bay area. We would greatly appreciate your volunteer help. If you are interested in volunteering, you can contact us by email or by phone to notify us of your desire to be a volunteer, or go to our volunteer webpage on this website to read descriptions of volunteer jobs that are currently available. You can download a special volunteer letter from the Executive Director, explaining the areas in which you can serve. We are in need of a wide variety of volunteers including volunteer service providers (such as teachers and health professionals).

Who Can Apply for a Grant and How Do We Apply?

You can apply for a grant if you are in need of health services or supplies. You may also apply if you are a health professional or an agency and would like to "partner" with us to provide health education programs or services. It is simply to apply. You can download our Hearts-to-Hands Application form. Fill out the form and mail it to us. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in order to open this file.
