Studio Policy

• THE FEE FOR PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS IS $70-100 PER MONTH
  (Depending on the instructor). Music lessons are expected to be paid directly to
  your instructor on the first week of the month. Habitual lateness will be subject to
  a $5.00 late fee.
  
  
• MAKE-UP LESSONS WILL BE ONLY BE GIVEN OF THE INSTRUCTOR
  AND /OR STUDIO IS NOTIFIED 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Cancellation within the 24 hour
  period will not made up or refunded. The student or parent is responsible for arranging any make-up
  lessons. THERE ARE NO MAKE-UPS FOR GROUP LESSONS.
  
  
• MAKE-UPS LESSONS ARE CONSIDERED GIVEN WHETHER OR NOT THE
  STUDENT IS PRESENT FOR THE SCHEDULED TIME. Reschedule lessons
  will not be made-up upon any cancellation.
  
  
• THE STUDENT IS EXPECTED TO BE PROMPT. Most of the lessons are scheduled
  every half hour. Teachers will not extend any lesson past the scheduled time.
  
  
• THERE WILL BE A $10.00 SERVICE CHARGE ON ALL RETURNED CHECKS.
  The fee will be added to the next month’s billing.
  
  
• IT IS UP TO THE TEACHER’S DISCRETION TO ALLOW FAMILY MEMBERS
  TO PBSERVE THE PRIVATE LESSONS. Please discuss the matter with your instructor.
  If you are observing the lesson, encouraging compliments are invited. However, any
  criticism or discipline will be left entirely to the instructor.
  
  
• THE STUDENT IS EXPECTED TO PRACTICE AT LEAST FIVE TO SIX DAYS A WEEK,
  30 TO 45 MINUTES PER PARCTICE SESSION. The teacher can only guide the student to the
  goals of musicianship. It is up to the individual student to work hard through discipline and dedication
  in order to reach these goals. We suggest that each student choose a daily routine of practice (e.g. before
  or after school or work, after dinner, etc).
