Rick's YouTube FF7 Characters in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon FAQ If you feel at all ridiculed by these answers, too bad! The lack of intelligence has been completely offending me, and I'm going to put a stop to it right now. Table of Contents: I. General Comments II. Cloud Comments III. Sephiroth Comments +================+ |General Comments| +================+ Q. You suck at this game. The other player isn't even moving. A. And you suck at commenting or even trying to understand what the video is about. This video is about showing you, the viewer, my version of a created fighter from the Final Fantasy VII series. This video IS NOT MEANT show the following to you: 1.) That I am a god at combos. 2.) That I can kick your ass at the game if we ever meet online. 3.) That I have a super amount of skill at this game. 4.) That I am the greatest player of Mortal Kombat alive. 5.) That I can beat this game by cramming the controller up my ass and dancing. Do you want me to be honest? I suck at this game and can be easily beaten by the CPU. I don't want to play online. My fun is in creating replicas of characters from other series besides Mortal Kombat. Just because I posted a video of a video game online does not mean I am posting it to show you that I kick ass. ---- Q. That's not Cloud/Sephiroth/Vincent/Reno/Rude. A. Now see. This is called a "Re-Creation". This means I cannot merely plug in Final Fantasy VII and just upload the characters perfectly. Also, Mortal Kombat Armageddon's "Kreate-A-Fighter" mode is not a fully-featured 3-D Modeling program where you can make a character look EXACTLY like they are supposed to in a game. What you CAN do with the Kreate-A-Fighter in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is this; You can mix and match different clothing, hair, and accessory parts until you can create something similar to a character. Also, there is only so many layers that this game lets you use. Layers are how many things you can stack onto the same area of a character, or just in general. Think of them as blankets on a bed. Sometimes, the pieces of clothings that we need to use on a certain created fighter is not available. This means you have to: 1.) Use sneaky methods in order to create the right look. An example of this is with Sephiroth. I used the "Trench Coat" upper body layer, which gives you the coat and a shirt underneath. Since Sephiroth is shirtless and there is no option to let you remove the shirt, I merely made it the same color as his skin. 2.) Use substitutions Reno's hair is nowhere to be found on the game. The closest thing you can give him for a hairstyle is the Ponytail hairdo. Thus, I chose the ponytail hairdo for him. 3.) Do without parts. This happened a lot with my Vincent Valentine KAF. I had a lack of parts to work with, and not only that, the game would only let me use certain articles of clothing and accessories at once with the character. I carefully picked what he would go good with and what he could do without possibly. Just because the character does not have EVERY PIECE OF CLOTHING on him, it does not mean that it is "Not Vincent" or "Not Cloud" or "Not Sephiroth". It means I had to do the best I can with what I had. And if you still insist that it has to be perfect or I shouldn't put it up? Fuck you. You're not worth my time. ---- Q. Can you please give me the formula for Cloud/Sephiroth/Vincent/Reno/Rude? A. No, I cannot. This is not me being a dick. This is me not having the formulas written down on the computer. I cannot give you what I don't have, I'm sorry. ---- Q. Can you please make me [a character you want]? A. Unfortunately, I don't take character requests. I don't have time. ---- Q. Well -I- made my OWN Cloud/Sephiroth/Reno/Rude/Vincent that's better! A. Congratulations. Do you want an award? I don't give a shit. ---- Q. How do you do [insert move, cheat, trick, fatality, etc. here]? A. www.gamefaqs.com +=========================+ |Comments Concerning Cloud| +=========================+ Q. You should rename Cloud's style to SOLDIER. A. I don't want to. First off, I do not like that as a fighting style name because to be frank, I think it looks really shitty and completely unrelated to Mortal Kombat styles. SOLDIER is not a fighting style, it is the group that Cloud worked in at one point. Therefore, I don't wish to make it a fighting style. But my biggest argument of all? It's my rendition. I can do what I want with it. ---- Q. Cloud isn't really THAT muscular! A. That's because of the limitations of body sizes in the game. All of the created fighters look muscular. You have very limited choices for body types. They are, as follows; 1.) Short and thin 2.) Average and kind of muscular 3.) Tall and very muscular Those are all the men's body types in the game. You cannot adjust them to any point in-between. You can only pick from one of these three types and no more. Therefore, Cloud has to look muscular. ---- Q. That isn't Cloud's Buster Sword! A. This is a limitation of the game. YOU CANNOT MAKE YOUR OWN WEAPONS. You can also only pick from swords, and a few other axe and hammer-type weapons. There is nothing else you can choose from. YOU CANNOT MAKE YOUR OWN WEAPONS. Because making your own weapons is impossible, I chose what was the closest thing to his actual sword. When I say "CHOOSING THE CLOSEST THING TO HIS ACTUAL SWORD", this does NOT mean any of the following things: 1.) I thought that the sword I picked for him in the game is his actual sword. 2.) I am retarded. 3.) I am blind. It means I could not use his actual sword in the game. It is a replacement sword. ---- +=============================+ |Comments Concerning Sephiroth| +=============================+ Q. You need to make Sephiroth's sword longer. A. I CANNOT MAKE HIS FUCKING SWORD LONGER. STOP ASKING. The sword that I picked for Sephiroth was his Katana. Yes, I called it the Masamune. No, there is no sword item that has such a long blade on it. THERE IS NO OPTION IN THE KREATE-A-FIGHTER TO ADJUST THE LENGTH OF THE BLADE OF A WEAPON There is also not an option to create your own weapons in the game. I'm also not stupid. If I could make his sword longer, I would. I'm all about perfection, but sometimes you can't be perfect. I can accept that. Can you? ---- Q. You forgot Sephiroth's wing/wings. A. No, I did not. I left them out on purpose. Why? Sephiroth does not go walking around with wings outstretched the whole time in FF7. I'm talking about Sephiroth's human form, not some of the other ones he has. Yeah, it does pop up once in Advent Children. -ONCE-. That doesn't count in my book. In Kingdom Hearts, however, he has wings. I have not played the game myself, but I have had numerous sources confirm this. THIS SEPHIROTH IS NOT A RENDITION OF THE KINGDOM HEARTS VERSION OF SEPHIROTH. There is also no option to give a character one wing. And finally, it's my rendition of the character. If I don't want to give him wings, I won't give him wings in the game. End of story. No amount of begging will change this. Ever. ---- This document will be updated. -Rick
