BRENDA ALOFF

Seminar on
AGRESSION IN DOGS
Sponsored by
Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue
At the Genesee County Fairgrounds
SEPTEMBER 11, 12 2004

Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue is pleased to announce we will be hosting a seminar by author, professional dog trainer and canine aggression authority Brenda Aloff. After meeting her in person it was agreed upon by our group that her expertise in canine learning theory and behavior modification would greatly benefit everyone that trains or deals with dogs at any level.

Brenda Aloff is a member of the following professional organizations: AFTC, DPDT, Board Member, NADOI. Brenda is a professional dog trainer specializing in problem behavior of canines. A large portion of her practice consists of dogs that are referred when traditional training techniques have been exhausted or failed. Brenda redirected her childhood love of training and showing horses to canine behavioral counseling and training. Her research of alternative training techniques, based on marine mammal and exotic animal training has helped to develop her knowledge of Canine Learning Theory. Brenda actively competes and has titled her dogs in conformation, obedience, tracking and agility.

Brenda has written several manuscripts on dog training and behavior, articles for magazines, participated in radio programs, produced a canine television program and currently serves as a consultant in canine behavior for local media sources in Midland Michigan, where she resides. She had also done Fox Terrier and all breed rescue for many years.

Brenda’s books include: POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT-TRAINING DOGS IN THE REAL WORLD and AGRESSION IN DOGS: PRACTICAL MANAGEMENT, PREVENTION & BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION. Books will be available at the seminar.
