_{Xena came to us in April 2001 at age 3. She had not been out and about much at her previous home. Since she was quite shy around other dogs and in new situations, Bob decided to take her into Conformation training classes in an effort to bring her out of her shell. After six months of training, the instructor convinced Bob to enter her into the local shows. This was a first both Bob and Xena as neither had been in a show ring.  She won 3 points at her first show and placed Group 3rd in her second weekend out. She finished her Championship primarily with Group wins, picking up her majors from Open Class over 2 Specials.
Xena is a clown, loves to cuddle and one of the most vocal Afghan Hounds you will ever meet.}
