ZOMBIE’s
House Of 1000 Corpses movie will make it’s UK debut as part of
the Frightfest 2003 festival, taking place from August 22-25 in
London at The Prince Charles Cinema. Zombie’s
film is to be show on the final day.

and comic book company MVCreations/CGE (http://www.mvcreations.com)
will release a six-issue mini series of comics featuring
four terrifying tales of horror and suspense in each
issue. The series premiers this October. Each story will
be written by Rob
Zombie
with art by such talents as Mike Manley, Will Conrad, Pat
Boutin and Comic Book Legend Gene Colan.

San Francisco thrash metal legends DEATH ANGEL
are confirmed to perform at Toronto’s 360 Club (326 Queen Street
West) on Saturday, September 13th. The concert, presented by The 360
& The Blood Brothers, also features performances from CLOVEN
BLADE and guests. Tickets are $15 advance/$18 @ Door and will be on
sale soon at The 360, Rotate This, Soundscapes and Penguin Music.

STAMPIN'
GROUND (www.stampin-ground.com)
are in the process of recording their new album, A
New Darkness Upon Us, with producer Andy Sneap
(TESTAMENT, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY) in his Backstage
Studios. It will be the band’s first recording
with new drummer Neil Hutton (ex-BENEDICTION).
During the recording the band will still be doing
shows is support of SEPULTURA.

The
atmospheric rockers THE
GATHERING
will record semi-acoustic versions of songs from all
artistic periods of the band for a best of-album
during two very special live shows in Nijmegen's LUX
Theatre on August 21st and 22nd. Selected songs from
six albums, so ranging from their debut-album
"Always", their hit record "Mandylion"
to "if_then_else" will be dressed
in a completely new sound. The yet untitled album
will be released by Century Media Records most
likely before the end of the year.
