Atlantic Youth Rally 2000 is truly an undertaking of the Holy Spirit. The idea of the Rally was conceived through Him in the Hearts of some 3rd order Franciscans of St. Peter’s Parish, Port Hood, Nova Scotia. It is a response to Pope John Paul’s call for this year of Jubilee to be one of "Evangelization." In 1989, at the fourth World Youth Day, our Holy Father said to the young people, "To be Christians is to be missionaries, to be apostles. It is not enough discover Christ – you must bring him to others." This, in essence, is the thrust of Atlantic Youth Rally 2000; to bring Jesus Christ to others. Please join us!
