Belated NSA Review

-Ok, here's my explanation of why this is so late. I wrote it a long time ago..maybe a couple of weeks after NSA came out. Then, a couple of weeks later (hey! I was really busy, but not in that kind of way *cough*) I was going to post it up for the site, but I couldn't find it. I totally forgot where I put it. Then I got really pissed because it took me a long time to write it and I had really good wise cracks on it. So I'm like, "You know what? Screw it." and I never worked on it again. Just recently I found it while organizing my drawers (it's summer, I get really bored.) so I'm like, "HALELUIYA" (I can't spell for shit) and here I am typing this for the many people who wanna know my opinion or who haven't heard the CD yet. Well, here it is...

Ratings: 1-Lowest (I need love was better than this song)
10- It's aiight (ehh..)
20-Highest (HELL YEAH)

1. Bye Bye Bye
Rating: 19

Fave Lyric: "You! Just hit me with the truth NOW Girl you're more than welcome to"

-It was the 1st single off the new album. It was "edgy" like they said. I LUV DARREN HENSON BTW. I liked how they sounded really mad. The lyrics are "hype" and it can relate to people.

2. It's Gonna Be Me
Rating: 20

Fave Lyric: "You're just too blind to see, but in the end you know it's gonna be me"

-By far, the best song on the album. My personal favorite. Justy's beatbox gets me every time. the Lyrics are "dope illy fresh", yo.

3. Space Cowboy
Rating: 16

Fave Lyric: "'Cuz Paranoia aint the way to live your life from day to day so leave your doubts and your fears beHIND"

-JC says "yo" a lot in the beginning, which really annoys me. He says "Millennium" and uh, BSB, and NO, and stuff. The song is catchy and gets stuck in your head a lot- which is bad. You can tell Left Eye got PAID to sing that rap, but it's ok.

4. Just Got Paid
Rating: 12

Fave Lyric: "You'll be boppin your head to this ill tight sound."

-It's very repetitive, so it lost some points. The rap was actually written by Justy and Chris. LOL, "ill tight" Justy wrote that part, you can tell. Hmm...I liked the "eh, I'm broke" at the end, but I thought it was gonna be "Can I borrow 5 dollars?" I'm broke to, so I can relate..

5. It makes me ill
Rating: 17

Fave Lyric: "He's not the type you said you like. His style is wack. Clothes are bad. C'mon girl let him go. I want you back"

-It's like a Destiny's Child meets Sisqo meets *N Sync song. I liked the beat. Uhh..yeah

6. Promises
Rating: 20

Fave Lyric: "I've loved you forever, in lifetimes before and I promise you never Will you hurt anymore"

- Richard Marx ROCKS! I liked how their voices blend. JC sings like a mutha. This song can move mountains..

7. No Strings Attatched
Rating: 17

Fave Lyric: "I see the things he does to you. All the pain that he puts you through."

-The beginning kinda scared me. I like the beat after the chorus. It rhymes well. That's about it. LOL

8. Digital Get Down
Rating: NC-17

Fave Lyric: "I lose my mind just when you're speaking. I see you on the screen I get to freaking...I can't wait to see you touch your body girl"

-HOLY MOTHER OF LANCTH! I like, the, uh..the beat. This song is very provocative, and the lyrics are...written well? Don't they know little kids listen to this CD? The future generation of women will become very horny. They'll get ideas! Joey must love his little solo in the beginning.

9. Bringing Da Noise
Rating: 9

Fave Lyric: "I've got that feeling baby, you know it drives me crazy, and all I wanna do is hit the floor"

-ROWR. uh..this is like the "JC" song. I don't really like it much because the chorus really blows. The beat is pretty much ok, I guess.

10. That's When I'll stop loving you
Rating: 18

Fave Lyric: "But you've gotta believe me, I'll never leave you. You'll never cry long as I am there."

-The loud ass heartbeat at the end freaked me out, so uh.. -2. Other than that, the song's really great. They were really into it. I dunno why some people dislike it. The lyrics are wonderful. Much Props to Diane Warren. The voices blend well.

11. I'll be good for you
Rating: 10

Fave Lyric: "But Don't worry I wont keep you waiting 'cuz I aint never seen a lady so fly"

-It's Ok. It sounds like a song made in the 60-80s. The Lyrics are pretty good. I liked how in the bridge, Lancth was heard real well.

12. I thought she knew
Rating: 16

Fave Lyric: "She was my once in a lifetime, happy ending come true ooohh I guess I should have told her, I thought she knew"

-Nice ballad. They should sing more a cappella. I don't really like to watch Joey when he sings his verse 'cuz he looks nasty nasty. I just like, cover my eyes. LOL. 5-part harmony is swell..alrighty...

Note: Why do *N Sync's CD's only have like 12 songs on them? Hello! You have a lot of B-sides that are really good. Have, uh, 17 songs on your Cd. GEEZ, artists today..

1. "Could it be you"

Fave Lyric: "How could it be, I never knew, it's always been you that I've been looking for"

-I love this song! It's kinda like one of those oldie songs, but not really. I love the lyrics. I got it off napster. It should've been on NSA. Gawd, what were they smoking?

2. This is Where the Party's At"
Rating: 16

Fave Lyric: "Pump it up! (to the left) Pump it up! (to the right)"

-LOL, ok that's not my favorite lyric, but it's pretty fun to listen to. What were they thinking when they added that part in it? Uh, it's ok. It's from that Pizza Hut CD thing.

3. Give Me the Love I need

Fave Lyric: "Show me your lovin babeh, show me that it's real. Just take my hand, I'll make you understand. I want you, you want me, and that's the way it's got to be"

-Ok, so I only gave it a 20 because I like how JC sings real sexy in this song. CRAP, Justy was only like 14/15 when he sang this and his lyrics are really provacative. WOW. I really like the beat to this song. They should release it as a single. LOL.

4. I'll Never Stop
Rating: 10

Fave Lyric: "I will never stop until you're mine I can wait forever 'till the end of time 'cuz my heart is in your hand"

-This is like a European single or something. It's pretty much ok. I dont dislike it, but I don't love it. I've seen the video, and a review will be up pretty soon. It's pretty hardcore pop.

5. If I'm not the one

Fave Lyric: "I wanna call you up 'cuz in the end I keep writing letters to my garbage can"

-It's pretty good. I haven't listened to the whole song, but a good majority of it. It's good. I recommend it to ya.

6. If only through Heaven's Eyes

Fave Lyric: "I still remember all the things that you said. I keep your words alive I could never forget"

-I luv this song. It was off the "Light It Up" soundtrack. For some reason it reminds me of Christmas. A very nice ballad..

7. Here and Now
Rating: 12

Fave Lyric: "And there have been times in my life I couldn't see the difference"

-I think this was off some soundtrack. It's ok. Violin part in the beginning is kinda boring though.

8. Some Dreams
Rating: 10

Fave Lyric: "She promised that and I promised this and to this day I can still picture it"

-Uhh, it's ok. It has a really weird beat, but yeah. JC sings well.

9. I believe in you
Rating: 16

Fave Lyric: "I never believed that golden slippers could ever find the perfect foot"

-I never thought the word "foot" could ever be sung in a song. Wow. This is the song with Joe and I like how Joe's and Chris's voices blend. It's a nice song. yeah..
