It has been a while since my last update, but as all of the guys that I work with know, I am a very busy man. Now I would like to talk about something that has been bothering me for a long time now and that is that wrestling tradition has been thrown out the window as of late!!! I have always heard of the days when if a guy disrespected the business he would get stretched. Well, I have seen alot of things going on as of late and I think that there are a lot of candidates in all of the Winnipeg Wrestling scene who deserve a good stretching but are not recieving it. I yearn for the old days that I have been told so much about. How you have to earn respect "the hard way" Maybe the lack of professionalism is due to the huge lack of veterans in Winnipeg today. I personally consider myself friends with many veterans, but with the huge amount of rookie talent in Winnipeg today alot of the old ways have been thrown out the window. It is not like the rookies don't want to learn about the tradition, it is just that there are too many rookies at one time so only a select few get to learn first hand from the veterans what the propper wrestling procedures are outside of the ring. Fortunatelly for me, I have been learning from veterans such as Steve Stryker and Vance Nevada how to treat the business and to always try to do what is "good for the business" I will be the first to admit that maybe I have not followed all of the rules of what is "good for the business" but I do believe that I have learned from my mistakes and won't make the same mistake twice. With RCW's roster filling up with veterans, I believe that it will only help not only my career but also the carreer's off all of my fellow rookie wrestlers in RCW. So in conclusion I would just like to thank every veteran on the RCW crew for helping me learn the business side of the business and not just the physical aspect of it!!! One last thing that I would like to mention in this little column is never trust an MD!!! RCW Gossip... Has Vance Nevada left RCW for good??? Does Malibu have a problem with Wallace??? Has Stryker been called up to one of the big three for an important Winnipeg show??? Will corey Diamond ever shine again??? Is Mike Myers calling the big O for a BIG FAVOUR??? Have the Resevoir dogs died of rabies??? Is Kurgan entered in the River City Rumble???
