Clone Items
REQUIREMENTS FOR CODE: Pokémon with SURF, Pokémon with FLY, Access to Cinnibar Island and Viridian City.
First, return back to Viridian City and talk to the man who taught you how to catch a Weedle (he is near the Gym where you face Giovanni). Reply "No" to his question, then watch him catch a Weedle. Then, place the item you want 99 of as number six from the top (we recommend Rare Candy or the Master Ball if you still have it). To switch items, press Select while pointing to an item, then move the arrow where you want the item to go and push Select again. Both items will switch places. Now, FLY back to Cinnabar Island and start SURFING along the east coast of Cinnabar like in the Missingno. code below. This time, however, you will face a different messed up Pokémon, with a name comprised of symbols and the letter M (players refer to him as M). Defeat him or run away but do NOT capture it. When it is defeated, you will have over 100 of the sixth item on your list! The number will actually be a symbol followed by a number If you want to repeat this trick, you'll need to talk to the man again. Keep in mind that you may be surfing for a while before you face MissingNo. (DO NOT CATCH MISSINGNO. HE WILL MESS UP YOUR GAME)
Daycare Secret
No Requirements
When you leave a Pokémon at the Daycare Center, every step you take the Pokémon recieves 1 EXP. Point.
Fight Safari Zone Pokémon out of Safari Zone!
REQUIREMENTS: Pokémon with FLY, pokémon with surf, and enough money to enter Safari Zone.
Enter the Safari Zone, go catch Pokémon until you have about 20 steps left. (You can find the number of steps you have left by pressing START). When you have only 20, go straight to a patch of grass, and walk around until you have no time left. You MUST be in a patch of grass for this to work. Then when you are "kicked out", go outside, FLY to Cinnabar, and SURF up and down the eastern coastline of Cinnabar Island. You will find all of the Safari Zone Pokémon available, and no more Rocks and Bait!
Dulicate a Pokémon
REQUIREMENTS: Friend, Game Link Cable, 2 Game Boys, 2 Saved games.
You need a friend for this. Trade the Pokémon to be cloned and have your friend trade you a Pokémon they don't care about. Trade them, and make sure the person getting the weak and common Pokémon can see the other's screen. When the receiver of the good Pokemon's screen says "Waiting...", turn off the Game Boy that's getting the unwanted Pokémon. When the other one says trade completed, turn that one off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the powerful Pokémon, but the weak Pokémon will be lost. (Warning! This could delete a saved game or your Pokémon!)
Battle L100+ Pokémon!
REQUIREMENTS: Same as Cloning code
Complete the MissingNo. code, and CONTINUE to SURF up and down the Eastern Shore of Cinnabar Island. You will encounter level 135+ Pokémon! You might even encounter Squirtles, Charmanders, or Bulbasaurs! Battling with these Pokémon automatically makes them L100 Pokémon, though!
Locations of Moon Stones
REQUIREMENTS: depends on location of Moon Stones
There are five Moon Stones, three of which are visible, two of which are not. 1) In the upper-lefthand corner of the first floor of Mt. Moon. 2) In the basement of the game corner. 3) In the bottom-right corner of Route 2 (CUT). 4) In Mt. Moon, before the Supernerd's platform, there is a corridor 4 spaces long and 1 space wide, go to the end of it and press A and poof! you have a Moon Stone. 5) In the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, go up to the right side of one of the pillars on the right-hand side near the entrance hit A and it will say you found a Moon Stone
No more worry about never having another chance to catch Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, or Mewtwo!
REQUIREMENTS: depending on location of Rare Pokémon.
Save your game before you fight one of the Rare Pokémon. If you do not catch the Pokémon, just turn off the Game Boy and turn it back on! Viola! They're still there, ready for catching!
Better chances of catching Pokémon
No Requirements
The exact moment you can see the PokéBall (any type) materializing on the screen, press UP + A on the Game Boy, and the Pokémon will stay in the ball longer.
Phantom PC???
