ODONATA Memorial     This page is dedicated to the memory of my son   SEAN JOSEPH BYRNE   28th September 1968 19th November 1998               Sean's Artwork Childhood Images The Last Goodbye Gifts and Awards             Though my soul may set in darkness, It will rise in perfect light, I have loved the stars too fondly To be fearful of the night.   Unknown*     *The author of this verse is thought to have been an elderly astronomer who was once the teacher of Galileo.         OBITUARY   Suddenly, in Edmonton, on November 19th, 1998, Sean passed away at the age of thirty years. He was predeceased by a son, Dean. He is survived by his grandmother, Mabel Barlow; parents, Jackie and Barry Atkinson; sisters, Tracey Byrne and Cara Harder; nephews, Eric and Jesse Harder; and by his beloved son, Chase, aged three.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.           Chase             Build me no comic tombstone, lying half, And half glozed over with unmeaning words, But a brave fountain. His death, the nature of his passing, has overwhelmed me. We were shocked and angered to learn that Sean's killer was released on bail, spending Christmas at home with his family. We are left here with some photographs, memories, and Sean's ashes.         My thanks to Hanne-l Han's Cave for this perfect background.
