Though my soul may set in darkness,
It will rise in perfect light,
I have loved the stars too fondly
To be fearful of the night.

Build me no comic tombstone, lying half,
And half glozed over with unmeaning words,
But a brave fountain. Let my epitaph
Be sung by birds.

BEREFT
As yet, I have been unable to put thoughts into words regarding
the murder of my son, and perhaps I never shall. His death, the
nature of his passing, has overwhelmed me. We were shocked and
angered to learn that Sean's killer was released on bail, spending Christmas
at home with his family. We are left here with some photographs,
memories, and Sean's ashes.
My thanks to Hanne-l
Han's Cave
for this perfect background.
